This spring wedding at the Lageret was moody and romantic. Mark & Kendra are both very resourceful people. They each put their creative touches on the day. Mark owns Deconstruction, a salvage operation that repurposes all kinds of architectural materials from old structures like barns, farmhouses, and some commercial properties. Deconstruction is seriously one of my favorite places in Madison to find unique details/pieces for our home! Mark weaved in some of his pieces that complimented the rustic ambiance of the Lageret. Kendra sourced and arranged the beautiful flowers.
Obviously I got the pleasure of baking for M+K’s big day. They chose a decadent assortment of cupcakes for their guests including flavors like Chocolate Euphoria and Banana Pancakes. They also had me design a small chocolate cake for them to cut during the reception. Kendra requested grey icing and pearly accents.
M+K are celebrating their first wedding anniversary this weekend. Happy Anniversary, and here’s to many more!
